Energy saving revolution in food factories! Groundwater utilization and water & heat recycling technology using renewable energy

Food factories will see major changes as water and heat costs are reduced!

Food factories have a large demand for both hot and cold energy, and they also use large amounts of high-quality water. We contribute to cost reductions in food factories by using groundwater, which is a renewable energy source, and by using systems that simultaneously recycle water and heat.

Groundwater direct cooler using renewable energy significantly reduces outside air load/indoor cooling

Our groundwater direct cooler, which uses renewable energy, is the ultimate eco-friendly cooling method that cools the air only by exchanging heat between groundwater and air.
When the room temperature is 30°C, the outlet temperature is approximately 2 to 3°C above the groundwater temperature, meaning that it is possible to blow cool air at below 20°C.
By installing a groundwater direct cooler at the intake section of the ventilation equipment, it is possible to significantly reduce the air conditioning load and make positive pressure management easier.
Of course, by selecting the type with a fan, you can also use it as a standalone cooler.
The only electricity bill is to power the fan and pump, making this an extremely energy-efficient air conditioner that consumes less than 1/10 of the power of a typical air conditioner.

Simultaneous recycling of water and heat by recovering heat from cooling wastewater

In food factories, it is common to use large amounts of water as cooling water, which is then discharged as wastewater after it has no further use.
In fact, this waste hot water can be used to supply hot water or generate steam by recovering heat. This heat recycling can reduce the load on boilers or even replace them.
Furthermore, by utilizing our extensive experience in water treatment, we can treat wastewater that has been cooled again by heat recovery, making it possible to recycle the water as well. Please try out the effects of energy conservation and cost reduction using renewable energy through simultaneous water and heat recycling. Below is an example of a system.

Heat is recovered from part of the waste hot water and used as boiler make-up water, and the rest is recycled as cooling water.
