Groundwater is a great energy saver! The effect of Aqua Easter's original groundwater heat and air conditioning system that uses renewable energy

Original groundwater heat utilization air conditioning system using renewable energy

We have developed a unique groundwater heat utilization system that utilizes renewable energy, which further increases the efficiency of conventional groundwater heat utilization and achieves significant cost reductions.

No need for a heat pump in summer! Efficient operation in winter too

Aqua Easter's groundwater heat utilization air conditioning system, which uses renewable energy, operates differently in summer and winter.
In summer, groundwater is passed directly through the indoor unit without going through a heat pump, and cool air is supplied using only the power of the fan and pump. The outlet temperature is kept at approximately 19 to 21°C (when groundwater temperature is 17°C) over a wide range of room temperatures from 20 to 40°C, making it extremely comfortable.
In winter, a heat pump that uses groundwater, a renewable energy source, is used for highly efficient heating. Compared to general air conditioners that use outside air as a heat source, this system can use groundwater, which is always at a temperature of around 15°C, as a heat source, so defrosting is not required and power consumption is significantly reduced.
Both the heat pump and the indoor unit are durable enough to withstand the dissolved components in groundwater, and this system was made possible by applying our unique water treatment technology.

Reducing basic charges through demand cutting and utilizing subsidies

This unique groundwater heat air conditioning system that utilizes renewable energy is characterized by its ultra-power saving, especially in the summer. In Japan, the power consumption for air conditioning peaks in the summer for many facilities, so by suppressing the peak power consumption for air conditioning in the summer, it is possible to reduce costs throughout the year by cutting demand.
Furthermore, this system is eligible for subsidies for the use of renewable energy, covering 1/3 to 2/3 of the cost excluding the indoor unit (subsidy program for 2018), which helps to keep introduction costs down.
