Features of LIMPIO


1. Variable

-The body and outer tube of LIMPIO can be adjusted according to the water depth.

· The inner cylinder is usually six-tiered, but can be stacked seven or eight tiers.

2. The outer cylinder and main body are separate

-The body and outer tube of LIMPIO can be adjusted according to the water depth.

- Materials available are stainless steel 304, 316, or PVC.

-The length of the outer tube can also be freely changed.

3. Projection shape

It has a wedge shape.

・The wedge shape is adopted because we want to utilize the Karman vortex that occurs when a water flow collides with a wedge-shaped flat surface.

- The occurrence of Karman vortices causes the rotation of the water flow to become more complex, resulting in the creation of smaller bubbles.

4.Air outlet shape

- By introducing air from the side of the outer tube, 100% bottom wrapping is possible.

- 100% of the deposits at the bottom are not left behind.

5. Convection Shape

- Rising bubbles are drawn in from the bottom of the LIMPIO and turn into finer bubbles.

- Fine bubbles always remain at the bottom of the tank.

6.Air volume

- By making the outer cylinder diameter 110 mm and the air outlet diameter 20 mm, the air volume can be reduced.

- The air lift effect is 100%, resulting in high dissolution efficiency.

LIMPIO pipe diameter calculation formula


1. Header pipe (usually around 10m/s wind speed)

Diameter (mm) x 103 = √Air volume (㎥/min) ÷60÷0.785÷ wind speed (m/sec)

2. Branch pipe (generally 15m to 20m)

Diameter (mm) x 103 = √Air volume (㎥/min) ÷ Number of branch pipes ÷60÷0.785÷ wind speed (m/sec)

3. Final exit diameter (generally around 30m)

Final diameter (mm) x 103 = √Air volume ÷ Number of branch pipes ÷ Number of aerators ÷60÷0.785÷Wind speed

60      : seconds

0.785 : 3.14÷4 (to calculate the diameter of the aperture)

Air lift air volume calculation formula


① New aerator inner diameter: 110.5mm

②Air lift water flow speed: 0.8m/sec to 1.3m/sec (generally 1m/sec)

Air volume (㎥/min) = 60 x 0.785 x 1 x 110.5 x 110.5 x 10-6

= 0.5751 m3/min

Therefore, the ideal airflow for the Aqua Tornado is 0.5 to 0.75 m3/min.
